After a survey of the site revealed that the existing sign structure was in good shape but all the internal lighting components were failing, we recommended retrofitting the complete sign with new LEDs. Since the sign faces were not cracked or warped, those do not need to be replaced at this time. The project will consist of removing all the letters, disposing of all interior components, building the proper support system to hold the new LEDs in place. Once that has been done, the high voltage transformers will be replaced with low voltage ones and the store will see considerable power savings as well as a drastic reduction in the servicing of this sign.
